Product overview
Pro-Line Throttle Valve Cleaner is a professional-strength active solvent formulated to remove the typical contamination found in the intake and throttle-valve area of petrol engines, including build-up around nozzles and holes. Oil, resin and glue-like residues in this area can restrict the free movement of the throttle valve and other intake components over time.
Application involves spraying the product directly across the throttle-valve area through a spray probe while the engine runs at a controlled speed, so the cleaning solvent reaches every part of the assembly. Because of the precision required and the risk of contact with sensitive components like the air-flow meter, professional workshop application is recommended.

Suitable for
- Petrol (gasoline) engines only
Application
Create direct access to the throttle valve with the engine running. Spray across the entire throttle-valve area in 2–3 second intervals at a minimum of 2,000 rpm via the spray probe, taking care not to let the product contact the air-flow meter or painted components. Stubborn deposits may require a second can.
