Product overview
Octane Plus is a self-mixing petrol additive formulated to raise the research octane number (RON) of the fuel already in the tank. A higher octane rating helps the fuel resist the premature, uncontrolled combustion known as knocking, which can otherwise place unwanted stress on internal engine components over time.
It is intended for vehicles without a petrol particulate filter, and is typically used where a vehicle's engine calls for a higher-octane fuel than is locally available, or where a driver wants extra protection against knock under load. Because the octane increase reduces knocking tendency, it can also support more efficient fuel consumption from the same tank of fuel.
